Proving once again that it is making the smart move in professionalizing its financial services and its unprecedented growth, First Standard won not just one but two international awards given by the prestigious Global Banking & Finance Awards based in the United Kingdom for its 2022 cycle.
But not only did the Filipino company secure a globally-recognized win–First Standard won in the same categories it got recognition for back in 2020: Best Business Funding Company and Best Mortgage Financing Company in the Philippines. A feat rarely accomplished in the global financial community, the twin awards won in two years highlight the consistency in striving for excellence in the industry.
“These awards are proof that we are not just fast and flexible, we are also favored–by our clients and the financing community,” says First Standard President Jacqueline Tan-Sainz. “Personally, I treat this as a favor from the Lord that I share with the entire First Standard team, without whom we wouldn’t be able to achieve consistent excellence.”
The Global Banking & Finance Awards is given by the world-renowned online and print industry magazine, Global Banking & Finance Review, which boasts a readership across 200 countries consisting of corporate leaders within Fortune 500 companies, major banks, and financial institutions, stock markets, among others. The award selection process is strictly by invitation only.
This year, First Standard joins internationally-renowned names in the financial community as awardees, like Bank of America, Maybank Malaysia, Ping An Bank Company, and the National Bank of Egypt; as well as established Philippine companies like Union Bank of the Philippines, CIMB Bank, and Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation.
